There is some merit to the idea that inequality will always manifest itself in societies, going by most of settled human civilizations' history. Of course, so will disease, pestilence, crime, and war.

Right and that's why we have medicine and doctors and epidemiologists and laws and treaties and the like, to prevent their occurances as much as possible and to mitigate their damage when they do happen. A handful of pedophiles siphoning off the world's resources should be treated like the pestilence that it is, in that we pour resources and expertise into fucking destroying the system that creates the pestilence in the first place.

Kind of my point. The whole "if you can't eradicate something bad completely, why bother at all" logic that a lot of righties operate under, along with the inherent naturalistic fallacy used to justify inequality, is bad faith horseshit. It's why they always try to label Leftists as "Utopians" as if we're under the delusion that we'll eliminate all bad things forever.

Fair, though I think a hypothetical Marxist system would prioritize trying to distigmatize people with autism or other “mental disabilities” as people, rather than what we do now under capitalism in trying to “fix” them into proper productive worker-drones. As I’ve said, the goal isn’t to fix all problems all at once but to get on the right track so that quality of human life becomes the foremost priority.
