Why do I get the feeling that if I looked into all these people claiming to be wealthy business owners on twitter I'd find nothing but Instagram influencers living beyond their means, constantly struggling to hawk their own brand in the hopes of getting handouts from other, wealthier companies?

long as there are billions of mfs on earth there will be uneven distribution of resourses

Unless what dipshit, unless what. These stupid fucks act like financialized global capitalism is an inevitability like fucking gravity or the sun rising in the morning. ANY SYSTEM DEVELOPED AND MAINTAINED BY HUMANS CAN BE ALTERED BY HUMANS, YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKING DUMBASS.

There is some merit to the idea that inequality will always manifest itself in societies, going by most of settled human civilizations' history. Of course, so will disease, pestilence, crime, and war.

Right and that's why we have medicine and doctors and epidemiologists and laws and treaties and the like, to prevent their occurances as much as possible and to mitigate their damage when they do happen. A handful of pedophiles siphoning off the world's resources should be treated like the pestilence that it is, in that we pour resources and expertise into fucking destroying the system that creates the pestilence in the first place.

Kind of my point. The whole "if you can't eradicate something bad completely, why bother at all" logic that a lot of righties operate under, along with the inherent naturalistic fallacy used to justify inequality, is bad faith horseshit. It's why they always try to label Leftists as "Utopians" as if we're under the delusion that we'll eliminate all bad things forever.

Fair, though I think a hypothetical Marxist system would prioritize trying to distigmatize people with autism or other “mental disabilities” as people, rather than what we do now under capitalism in trying to “fix” them into proper productive worker-drones. As I’ve said, the goal isn’t to fix all problems all at once but to get on the right track so that quality of human life becomes the foremost priority.

I mean, they got me I am never going to be wealthy. Unless I get my dick caught in a ride in Disneyland and get a nice lawsuit settlement that is.

Is it true that I can't boss up #1 under socialism?

There's no big payday when you get your dick ripped off at Trotskyland. All you get is free medical care and counseling for your pain and suffering. So see? Capitalism is still #1.

“There’s always gonna be greedy assholes who want to get rich and tell everyone to kiss their ass, so you’d better not try to organize society in a way that actively discourages that kind of behavior!”

Socialism is bad because it didn’t change a poor, small country with an economy based on sugar plantations and tourism into a world economic powerhouse while being embargoed by the most powerful nation on Earth.

No but see if most of us weren't struggling for scraps we'd have no will to innovate or work hard! Struggle and only struggle gives our existence meaning!

Real talk, I'd like to see that logic applied to why we should "relieve" the ultra-wealthy of such a burden.

I've had a version of this argument thrown at me when I tried to argue for monthly stimulus checks (and also rent/mortgage freezes) during the covid19 pandemic, on the basis that a lot of poor people treated it like a slush fund (e.g. buying fireworks) rather than spending it more responsibly, e.g. saving up for a car or otherwise investing in themselves.
