I've been watching a lot of philosophy tube, and some others, lately. And for the most part I really like them. However I've seen a bit of hate for them here. Am I missing something? Is criticism more directed at their the chunk of their fans who only pay lip service to the ideas they present or is actually a problem with the creators. Edit: Or maybe I miss read everything and this community doesn't have a problem with them at all. Edit 2: Thanks for the responses and other places to look. Like I said I've mostly been watching philosophy tube (who maybe subtly calls for violent uprising but he still does) and just dipping my toes into the others, looks like I'll skip most of the other channels. As far as being radicalized I'm there already, I just really like the presentation of what I've watched so far. And its given me something to send to my brother who has been mildly interested but is pretty damn far from radical.

I think the hate is mostly for their political views/opinions rather than their work per se; I enjoy watching Contrapoints and find a lot of her material fun, but for example, her character Tabby, in the video that was first introduced, was showed (even tho in a bit of a patronizing way) as a person with a respectable and understandable opinion, whereas in the later video of voting, was shown more like a stupid strawman that Natalie used in order to make look people who didn't want to vote for Biden as stupid and inmature. In short, breadtube has good videos analazying the problems of current society, but has awful "I think revolution cannot be achieved, therefore I'm more mature than you" kind of solutions to those problems.
