I've been watching a lot of philosophy tube, and some others, lately. And for the most part I really like them. However I've seen a bit of hate for them here. Am I missing something? Is criticism more directed at their the chunk of their fans who only pay lip service to the ideas they present or is actually a problem with the creators. Edit: Or maybe I miss read everything and this community doesn't have a problem with them at all. Edit 2: Thanks for the responses and other places to look. Like I said I've mostly been watching philosophy tube (who maybe subtly calls for violent uprising but he still does) and just dipping my toes into the others, looks like I'll skip most of the other channels. As far as being radicalized I'm there already, I just really like the presentation of what I've watched so far. And its given me something to send to my brother who has been mildly interested but is pretty damn far from radical.

Calling out shaun is kinda bad indeed, hes one of the best. Isnt kinda weird to shit on someone who is sometime wrong instead of people who are always wrong. I dont think cannibalizing the left pipeline is the best way to go and very basic, entry level media analyses are part of that. People rarely find Shaun or NonCompete by chance.

I was maybe hyperbolic and i dont think there's targeted harassement against her coming from the left (god i hope there isnt), but it really caught me by surprise to see something of a concensus on someone who barely has anything related to political content.

Also fuck you. Going trough posts history what a fucking nerd.
