I've spend the last days after the election setting up a webpage that urges people to organize then has a list of good local organizations. I see it as a quick reference a lib can pick up and get interested in a decent non-DNC/RNC affiliated group that focuses on shit outside the ballot box. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can get the groups listed involved so it actually can reach people.

Today I also started to actually map out my local county power structures. I want to profile (connections to capital, groups, etc) elected leaders and see what actual material gains the people can get from those structures. Know the enemy etc. Going to do my county, with a deep dive on the big city (and it's police, budget and links to capital). Then include powerful groups, orgs, employers and other individual. Hopefully see how they all interact. Right now it's a learning project for me that I'll probably circulate at some point. Going to take me a long fucking time.

In the long run, I want to bring these ideas together in a podcast (i do have radio production experience). Something that can provide a platform for local organizers and provide some break down of local power structures. Call it good old propaganda, but I want it to be a rallying point for organizing in my town and get people thinking of politics outside of the polling booth. Maybe it's a dumb idea with no audience, who knows.

        Thanks Comrade!

My thoughts is it'd be targeted at those Bernie folks, playing off the 'fight for the person next to you' message but focused on what we need to do outside of the ballot box. Interviews with local groups, call to actions, taking big concepts and bringing them into a local scale. Bringing people into a 'I deserve more and I need to fight for it' mindset.
