DECLASSIFY EVERYTHING!!! We can’t let the bad actors get away with it.

    https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/status/1325524657802522624

Lets play a game of guess how many times the CIA failed to kill Fidel .

I am going to so with 1492.

    Here is the current estimates.

The Church Committee stated that it substantiated eight attempts by the CIA to assassinate Fidel Castro in 1960–1965. Fabián Escalante, a retired chief of Cuba's counterintelligence, who had been tasked with protecting Castro, estimated the number of assassination schemes or actual attempts by the Central Intelligence Agency to be 638, a project code-named Executive Action, and split them among U.S. administrations as follows:

    Dwight D. Eisenhower (1959–1961): 38

    John F. Kennedy (1961–1963): 42

    Lyndon B. Johnson (1963–1969): 72

    Richard Nixon (1969–1974): 184

    Jimmy Carter (1977–1981): 64

    Ronald Reagan (1981–1989): 197

    George H. W. Bush (1989–1993): 16

    Bill Clinton (1993–2001): 21

look at those fucking losers Nixon and Reagan .

    :fidel-salute:

When you first hear Fabián Escalante's estimate of 638 it sounds absurd and the numbers are probably inflated. Then you look into the ones that have been confirmed by the CIA and you quickly start to think Fabián probably underestimated.

I actually did some praxis and forgot about it. My fiancee was asked a couple weeks ago to bring something discussing anti-racism (podcast, article, etc.) to one of her grad classes. I suggested the Citations Needed on HGTV and gentrification (which was relevant enough to the major) and I guess it drew the most engagement and discussion of anything anyone brought up. :sicko-yes:

The sheer jubilation coming from libs thanks to this election is really pissing me off. It's like they genuinely believe they're in a movie or a book or something and they just defeated the big evil villain and now all is well. They don't fucking understand that even if Biden had a passing interest in enacting policies that helped people, it's going to be at best gridlock for 2 years then dems getting their shit slapped in midterms.

After defeating Sauron it's not over because when they come back to the shire turns out someone's fucking shit up

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scouring_of_the_Shire

Critics have considered "The Scouring of the Shire" the most important chapter in The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien denied that the chapter was an allegory of the state of Britain during the aftermath of World War II. Commentators and critics have however seen it as applicable to that period, with clear contemporary political references. These include a satire of socialism; echoes of Nazism; allusions to the shortages in postwar Britain; and a strand of environmentalism.

The idea of such a chapter was, as Tolkien stated, planned from the outset, as part of the overall formal structure of The Lord of the Rings, though its details were not worked out until much later. The book's central theme is going out on the physical quest to destroy the One Ring, to be balanced by a chapter on returning home on the moral quest to purify the Shire and to take responsibility for oneself.

He had 4 years. Hillary was going to prison. He was stopping the elite blood drinking child predators. Why didn't he do anything? Very seriously, why hasn't any of these conspiracy theories come to fruition? It's always wait and see.

    chuds in meltdown still lmao

Took a bike ride to clear my head and contemplate on how down I'm feeling.

Realized I'm just really upset that people are this happy to see the establishment and neo cons back in power.

I hope we get somethimg out of biden but I doubt it. At least this time it's not like Obama where he built the grass roots machine and can dismantle it.

Does Biden even have grass roots? I mean he basically ran a campaign of “fuck the left”.

I've spend the last days after the election setting up a webpage that urges people to organize then has a list of good local organizations. I see it as a quick reference a lib can pick up and get interested in a decent non-DNC/RNC affiliated group that focuses on shit outside the ballot box. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can get the groups listed involved so it actually can reach people.

Today I also started to actually map out my local county power structures. I want to profile (connections to capital, groups, etc) elected leaders and see what actual material gains the people can get from those structures. Know the enemy etc. Going to do my county, with a deep dive on the big city (and it's police, budget and links to capital). Then include powerful groups, orgs, employers and other individual. Hopefully see how they all interact. Right now it's a learning project for me that I'll probably circulate at some point. Going to take me a long fucking time.

In the long run, I want to bring these ideas together in a podcast (i do have radio production experience). Something that can provide a platform for local organizers and provide some break down of local power structures. Call it good old propaganda, but I want it to be a rallying point for organizing in my town and get people thinking of politics outside of the polling booth. Maybe it's a dumb idea with no audience, who knows.

        Thanks Comrade!

My thoughts is it'd be targeted at those Bernie folks, playing off the 'fight for the person next to you' message but focused on what we need to do outside of the ballot box. Interviews with local groups, call to actions, taking big concepts and bringing them into a local scale. Bringing people into a 'I deserve more and I need to fight for it' mindset.

    a thedonald.win nugget:

Not gonna lie; I've let my anxiety and rage get the best of me; I've emailed him like 4 times in the past few days through WH.gov imploring him to not give up, to express my undying support, and tell him I'm here if there's anything at all I can do for him.

Have YOU contacted POTUS to express your support? Messages like these DO get through to ALL presidents, esp. Trump: https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Here is the bright shining hope I've found over the last few days: The Biden impeachment hearings after 2022 are going to be fucking amazing. They're going to have 20x30 prints of Hunter's coke can cock brought out to the Senate floor during the trial.
