We’re joined by the Chapo Foreign Affairs desk of Derek Davison and Daniel Bessner to discuss what might change and what might continue in a foreign policy transition from Donald Trump to Joe Biden. Then, we get beamed aboard the MOTHERSHIP as we take a look at Daniel and Amber’s recent Jacobin article on Democrats’ material incentives to lose.

Disagree with their mocking of designating Trump a 'fascist'. Sure, he's not overt and he hasn't murdered journalists yet, and there's no curfews or martial law, but the reason people are flagging it now is because this is the only chance we can nip it in the bud (potentially maybe :( probably not). Does it seem hysterical to the right wing? Absolutely, but they're screaming socialist on their end and that's an effective dogwhistle, so why shouldn't we do it?
Plus, there's some really terrifying hints recently that show it might be heading somewhere pretty bad. It might be fine, but I disagree with the idea we should be mocking people putting up incredibly valid red flags.
