Heard a lot of good stuff, and I’m kinda into the story. I like the little cute vignettes, I wanna see how things play out. But man, there really isn’t much game there. It’s just running around the same four screens over and over so far. Does it open up more? I’m up to section three, after the harvest festival. I wanna see it through but it’s kinda dragging. Not living up to the hype so far.
I just finished it, the ending is good but yeh, I was hitting the “next dialogue box” button pretty hard by the end. I wouldn’t mind seeing the other branch of friendship hangs with Gregg, but I don’t really see myself committing to another few hours of running slowly through the town. Decent game, interesting story, but I’d heard great things.
Yeah, nothing keeps happening and there's little tension, and what little traction it manages to pick grinds to a halt whenever you're up against a dream sequence or something. It's legit an issue with pacing.
