I am so sorry about your friend. Life is tough and this year has been one of the worst. I've lost some friends too this year to COVID. It's hard to pick back up on hobbies knowing that when you look for your old friends, they're no longer there.

Keep drawing. Even if you aren't happy with your output at the moment, just keep doing it and eventually the inspiration will come back to you.
