I think socialists and communists should spend some time studying the political culture of Atlanta. It is thought of, quite explicitly by PMC black people, as a sort of black utopia. It's one of the last remaining hubs for a black petite bourgeoisie. And there's a big class divide in the city between the rich black media and business figures and the black working class, who are getting pushed out into the suburbs as neighborhoods are gentrified.
