In the 50s bougies would smoke cigars all the time, usually Cubans. Not only are they enjoyable but they're also part of a Bourgeois image.

Then comes Castro. Total commie chad that always has a cigar in his mouth. Dressed in fatigues to symbolize the ongoing struggle against imperialism and capitalism. His cigar has basically become an integral part of his image. American mayos start thinking about communism when they see cigars, especially around the time of the Cuban missile crisis. First came the ban on Cuban cigars, and then eventually less and less porkies were slonkin on stogies, usually switching to cigs and then eventually quitting in the 90s

Cigars are weird, I still think its a bougie thing despite comrade Castro's efforts. I also think I'd look weird with a cigar cuz im a smol

Cigarillos intrigue me though, are they cool?

I mean cigars look big even if you're not a smol bean. I generally don't smoke them around others anyway since they smell so strong and the smoke kinda hangs in the air. I also occasionally smoke a pipe but I'd never do that in front of other people because it looks really lame.

You would look badass with a giant cuban cigar.

You spend 25 dollars on one for new years, it becomes a nice luxury without being something ridiculously bougie IMO.
