I know we don’t often have a moment or idea we can pinpoint, but this exact video made me realize exactly how fucked the current system is. Somebody showed it to me and that was enough to make me see just how disgustingly distorted my actual idea of what the wealth of the bourgeoisie looked like.

I didn’t turn into a leftist overnight, but this video never left my mind. The way it shows wealth distribution as what we believe the “ideal” vs what we think actual wealth distribution vs current wealth distribution is... was just so striking. It made me so angry. It made me angry that so many people I knew couldn’t get a college education, couldn’t feed their family, couldn’t pay their medical bills while this kind of wealth exists. It disgusted me. The video is very lib, but in a way that is extremely eye opening, and with some nuanced guidance it is extremely disturbing material that can radicalize people.

I just felt like it might be good to actually share some material like this because it is important to keep making people aware of reality. Reality endorses Marxism.

Ahh I remember this one, it hit me hard as well

It has a certain Lovecraftian horror to it. It has the pacing of videos where the camera starts pointed at a person, and then just zooms out and out and out and out and out and out and out and out and......... while the music swells

It really does. The pacing is so unsettling and once you start the video it literally does not get a single bit more cheerful or reassuring. It just gets worse... and worse... and worse with absolutely no respite

This series is really good IMO for summarizing Capital for libs in a way that's really easy to digest and nice and concise

The whole channel is great, it's basically theory for dummies and I love it because I am one.

people have been asking for digestible theory for years and this is the first time i've seen someone actually follow through with an answer.
