Woke is back
Not to sully this good megathread with el*ctoralism, but I really wish the U.S. presidents could only serve one five year term. First-term presidents do nothing but putz around trying to get a second term, which they usually win.
It's not a bad take but honestly at the end of the day our system is some 18th century bullshit. I'd rather see a parliamentary system with a strong PM and a figurehead president at most
I don't like the idea of singular heads of state at all. If a PM is theoretically just doing what the majority of parliament wants, just have parliament do it. Requiring some face on top of the government is lingering monarchism
that's what it's like in mexico, one six-year term and you're done
