So far I've enjoyed stuff like The Boys, The Thick Of It, What We Do In The Shadows, but I'm open to try anything really. Except The Office.

        I'd argue that Hank is shown a lot to be a victim of toxic masculinity a lot though. He puts on a lot of show for the other members in his precinct.

        Character-wise he's basically just cop-Walt on some level.

        It's a great show but this right here (among many other reasons) is why I always place The Wire above it. The Wire wasn't afraid to say the institutional structure of the police contributes to the problems on the streets.

        BrBa has a pretty standard lib opinion of law enforcement, IMO. Like maybe they have some personality flaws but they are still the "good guys". Also, it didn't seem to ever really criticize the War on Drugs. That's what I got from the show at least
