yeah he's just savvy. this is just a way to stop the church from declining (which would lessen their power). the old boomer would've done good as a politician.

I don't know, but it is, unfortunately, the most possible outcome. I can just hope he is being serious in his acceptance, that way he might be more akin to the (very) primitive church, and Jesus, of course
