Got my first eye exam since childhood, and I failed. Your girl's getting glasses I guess. Why are these things so expensive?

There's a company with a virtual monopoly on glasses, that's why. Luxottica I think it's called.

That is based. Also for most frames they will let you put whatever dumb meme text you want on the side.

They are way better than the ones I ever got from like, lenscrafters. The only ything is you should make sure your perscdiption includes your ipd cause thst can be somehwat hard to sort on your own

These are great. Fair warning that most of the frames are pretty cheap and break easily, but you could buy a lot before you approach the cost of similar frames from a retail store.

Coastal.com is inexpensive glasses that are decent quality. I've used zenni a lot, too

ooh, I'm getting fitted for contacts today. so sick of glasses falling off my damn face.

you're supposed to have separate insurance that covers your eyes so it's super expensive if you don't have that. because you know, being able to see is a perk or something.

see, that's because it's essential for you. if it's important, it costs more than you can afford!

eyebuydirect.com has probably the cheapest glasses you can find if you dont have insurance. the frames are designed in house, so no luxottica monopoly markups.
