Someone asked me that recently after we were going through Netflix and couldn't find a single movie either of us interested in. My answer was Anchorman 2, but even that ended up being disappointing, and forever ago.
I think part of that is the dawn of a future dystopia. A lot of entertainment has been rendered pretty meaningless, and in times of strife, they reveal themselves to be increasingly vacuous.
On a counternote: what movies should I be checking out (any platform)?
Mortal Engines. Loved the books.
Was a little let down by the film but still thought it was awesome. Shame it's probably not getting a sequel.
