My professor just criticized white people sharing black memes "without credit or compensation." Am I crazy to think that you cannot apply the feminist logic of unpaid labor to something uncommoditizeable like memes?

They have, but the memes which they can use are limited, and a lot of folks will refuse to touch a meme that's reached the mainstream, a "dead meme."
I guess it's not so much uncommodifiable so much as an anti commodity counter technology
