Tbh the reason why it's lower in some places is probably bc the evictions already happened.
In New York, it's just because there are so many pending evictions that there's a waiting list to be heard in court.
Yeah, they would never do that because then they're out of power since bourgeoisie no longer paying them.
God Maine is so fucked up. It's because you have literally no chance of surviving here unless you own your fucking house. Nobody is renting because every fucking rental is an AirBnB and half the fucking properties are just investments owned by billionaires.
