They're supposed to "help you see better while it's dark out" but completely blinds the fuck out of you when you're on the receiving end.
They literally make it more dangerous to drive because of the brief moments they destroy your night vision and shit.

Years ago, I asked my eye doctor if there was any reason why I seem to have more trouble driving at night that other people, and why I seem to get more blinded by light than other people. Turns out, I have abnormally large pupils that probably don't adjust to changes in light as well as normal ones. Cool, cool, cool. Yet another weird thing about my body.
Your body is beautiful and wonderful as nature intended, we just live in a dogshit system that prioritizes being an absolute pain in the ass to being human. Like retina-buring white LED lights on max blast.
