For this Sunday Slop Night, first up is In a Lonely Place (1950), starring Humphrey Bogart as a shifty boyfriend who might just be a psychopath. This is one of the go-to examples of film-noir, and generallyconsidered one of Bogey’s best. Director is Nicholas Ray (Rebel Without a Cause, Johnny Guitar). After that is Serbian rom-com Black Cat, White Cat (1998), from renowned auteur Emir Kusturica, about a guy so desperate to settle his debts with the mob that he agrees to marry the boss’s daughter. Wacky hijinks ensue. Extremelygood reviews for this one across the board, so let’s check it out.

We’ll start at 9PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies
