Got a tattoo today that had Soviet symbolism in it. Think like an art stylized type of old propaganda poster from the cold war era. As I was getting it one of the other tattoo artists asked me if I was "really a communist" and how "deep into communism" I was.

I was like "Uh, I mean, I think workers should control their means of production and be entitled to what their labor creates." Her response was "Oh! You're a socialist, like one of those Nordic types? I thought you were one of those 'government controls everything' type of communists."

Then she went on about how the problem with government was too many regulations called herself a libertarian, ranted about seat belts, then said she's really an "anarcho-capitalist", said how the Nordic countries are great because they have no regulations and free markets, said some shit about how Cuba would be more prosperous if they had open markets, uhh some more shit about how Stalin and Lenin killed more people than the holocaust, but uh, they liked my tattoo so cool I guess?
