I am in full support of the transgender scene, but ignorant to some of the subtleties like this so if anyone wants to chime in please feel free. The way I understand it is Elliot, while identifying as trans & using he/they pronouns still isn't a transgender male (I'm presuming this would typically result in a transition/hormones/etc) - but non-binary so he is simply that, a he - but not a male?
I would love some clarification or at least a little bit more understanding, google sort of gave me an answer but again the subtlety of it is what I don't know how to handle it when explaining it to someone.
Did they come out as a trans man or just trans? He said in the tweet that he is trans and using he/they pronouns?
