Liberal ideology is when you love losing and hate to accomplish things. The more you lose, the more liberal you are. Sorry sweaty, I don't make the rules biden-troll

This is excellent, I've been ranting for years about what I've been calling latent Protestantism, the tendency among Amerikkkan atheists and nonchristian spiritual types to replicate the mores and belief structures of Christianity.

It is true that targeted assassinations wouldn't work though. Every ghoul can be easily replaced with minimal disruption to the system.

Eco terrorism like blowing up pipelines may yet work

I'm talking like a lot of targeted assassinations. Make the average life expectancy of an oil exec measured in days

The point at which it's enough assassinations to work is the point that it stops being targeted assassinations and just starts being a revolution.

Sure, but that takes a lot more resources we don't yet have built up. Sabotage, however, results in damage that is potentially more lasting and can be achieved by isolated individuals and groups, like what has been happening in Atlanta as police crackdowms on the Stop Cop City protests have intensified.

Gotta remember we already tried propaganda of the deed. It had some practical problems.

No, I just typed the wrong letter lol. Fixed

Edit: although hot take, XII is a better game than VII.

As a proud beta male, normally I would run from a fight but I think I can take anyone who would be upset about me shit talking FFX.

You're fortunate I don't care that much about the franchise as a whole, especially not enough to argue past the Sepiroth fanart getting exhausting in its quantity in my Livejournal days.

I've always been a Dragon Quest guy which makes shit posting about FF way more fun. I've literally only played FF 7, 10, and 12 lol.

Edit) and 15 but that almost feels like it doesn't count

I never played any Dragon Quest, i'm interested though since they seem to have stayed more true to the old school format than FF has. You have some recommendations?

With my nostalgia glasses on, DQ3 will always have a soft spot in my heart but 5 is usually considered the best of the 2D games. 11 is also amazing and all the QoL features made it frustrating for me to play any other RPGs for awhile

Even though i like X, its probably the only one that is overrated at all. I think most of them seem to be rated about right, except xii like i said.

I'll have to agree to disagree on blitzball though, its awesome. Definitely sucks at first until you fire most of the original team and recruit a bunch of ringers though lol

Oh yeah, I like X as a whole but it's definitely the most overrated.

But "blitzball isn't fun until you break it" doesn't really seem like a ringing endorsement of the mini game lol

michael-laugh that's a good point. I think I've actually been able to enjoy without completely breaking it, but i sure as hell had to break it to enjoy it the first time

That is a pretty hot take. I agree that VII is pretty overrated though, but I wouldn't say XII is the best.

I'm one of those freaks that thinks X is the best.

Yeah he had the one meme line that goes so hard and then the rest is shit. Sorta like an even shittier version of Dorner, kernel of a decent idea that through memes whitewashes their actual politics and actions. At least Dorner arguably got something out of killing people who were not cops.

Remember that people really do get their politics online, and passively through memes, so shitpost responsibly.
