Hey sorry not trying to shame you specifically, but /gallery/ just isn’t meant for sharing your own art, it’s not a bad sub but that’s not what it’s for. It’s meant to highlight historical artworks, and they enforce that rule to prevent it from turning into /art/ which is a shithole of photorealistic charcoal drawings and digital paintings of cute indie girls.
The subreddit “gallery” is cool. The /art/ subreddit is astonishingly bad though
the mods prohibit artists from posting links to their site or social media in the comments its a stupid sub
