I'm dying my hair pink and I'm excited to see how the boomers in my office react.

Also do y'all think we're ever gonna get to a point where working an office job doesn't have boomer dress code like no tattoos or piercings

How old are your employers? I work for a small business with small business tyrants for bosses. I'm closeted but I've been pushing the envelope with the dress code since I got hired.

My boss is also retirement age and a pothead but he's dyed-in-the-wool chud, the only thing that stops him from calling me a f*g or something is his desire to be liked and looked up to by everyone, so he keeps it on the down low when around me.

Gotta admit when I hear about office workers workplace concerns its wild how different our lives are. Not trying to disparage office workers or anything. We definitely have more freedom in some respects on the jobsite, I've seen plenty of dudes with face tats (usually demo crew) and nobody bats an eye.

Yeah I feel like my concerns aren't really that egregious compared to someone who does physical labor but I'm kind of coming at this more from the perspective of me trying to live out the teenage alt girl years that I was never allowed to experience since I was amab

Give him five more years and the whole city will be converted to a giant Amazon shipping center!

Tents? They'll live in the Amazon barracks connected to the shipping center.

That sounds suspiciously like caring for the material needs of a worker.

                  Go back to china, commie.

The rule of life is that none of the cool shit that happens in dystopia fiction will happen for real, only the bad stuff

                    So no horse people

Only places I know with really relaxed dress codes are silicon valley type places which have their own kind of psychotic work environment.
