every depiction of somethiong bad has to come with a 90 minute lecture directed at the audience to make it cool?
It existing in this fucked up world is already criticism of the ad brh. It's like getting mad a racist poster in Bioshock infinite even tho thats where the game is set
don't include shitty depictions of marginalized groups. you don't have to be an asshole.
criticize the shitty depiction in some way.
I strongly recommend option 1.

we've come full circle. settings don't arise whole cloth out of nothing. human beings choose the elements to include and those choices influence the people who consume the art. Bioshock is an example of a work that sets out to do political criticism. it's the exact opposite of 2077, which is using shitty depictions of trans people while offering no substantial criticism of that depiction.
and don't come back with cyberpunk is criticism of capitalism - that 1. has virtually nothing to do with the elements I'm pointing to as problematic and 2. cyberpunk is being used in this work to evoke an aesthetic, NOT to criticize capitalism, in the first place. this is liberal art intended for a mass liberal audience.
it's just lazy art and a cashgrab. it's okay to like problematic things but get the fuck out of my notifications telling me whether or not to feel grossed out by a dehumanizing depiction of my own god damned body. this shit is personal to me. death by a thousand paper cuts still leaves you dead.
