i have no clue why, like is objectively bad. the game was shipped out with a shit ton of glitches (not to shit on the qa team or anything, more like the higher ups were being fucking assholes and overworked these people and made them ship out an unfinished prdouct. then go on to force out a shitty day one patch to fix all the issues they could have earlier if they just pushed it back like a week or so), like 3 skyrims worth lmao. there's also like a vr section of the game where your character is hit with a bunch of red and blue flashing lights, like the kind that triggers epileptic seizures. i watched that portion and it made my head hurt and i dont even have epilepsy lmao. and all that isn't even touching on the blantant transphobia in the game

I don't think it's fair to say it has 3 Skyrim's worth of glitches yet, Skyrim was also a complete mess on launch. As was Fallout. Same goes for many other games that are well remember which is why some might disagree with calling it "objectively bad"

i mean from what ive seen, the driving in the game is literally like a step up from that shitty ass big rigs game, which is kinda concerning considering its a triple a game where driving is a big part of the core gameplay. i'd show you a clip but cdpr keeps dmcaing footage of it

I haven't seen any footage of the game so I don't doubt you. The Witcher 3 was a broken mess on launch and I think the combat sucked, so I enjoyed it mainly for the characters and story.

Yeah not sure how they pushed the epilepsy stuff. I'm not in game dev, but we have epilepsy checks as part of our QA process.

It was also made under brutal crunch but lib g*mers don't want to talk about that because they don't actually care about workers
