Tangent: I was thinking about women unironically thirsting over people like Paul Dano or Miles Teller and I realised men don't really get the chance to have the same unconventional thirsts. Hollywood consistently allows bizarre male faces in hollywood- but women have to be 9.89/10 to even get considered to be shown on screen.

Do women bodybuilders and martial artists count as unconventional?

Because I like soft boys and hard girls, blur those gender lines and I am all over you

Kristen Schaal is cute, same with Lauren Lapkus...I guess I like the funny ones. I'm not that great with celebrities but I like chubby women too

I think they're two types of attraction, conventionally attractive i.e what marketable, and personal attraction, what really turns you on. At least this is how it worked for me since it's hard finding a celebrity I fantasize about. I know for some they overlap so it does not feel like these categories exist.

Gonna give a weird example hope it doesn't sound creepy but in high school I had two blonde English teachers.

The 10th grade one was conventionally attractive, slim, busty, pretty face, and in her early 30s. A lot of students liked her and would talk about her. I didn't feel the attraction but she was genuinely kind so whatever.

The 11th grade teacher was a pretty chunky 40 yo that I was super into. Gonna hold myself back from describing her too much because I'm just gonna get super horny which isn't my goal right now. I would try my hardest to do well in her class to be on her good side. I'd also hang on to her every word and remember things she would say about her personal life. During Halloween she dressed up in a school girls uniform, we didn't have uniforms btw, and I was all 😍. Other students were either apathetic or laughing along since she meant dressing up as a joke. She was kind and funny if a little sad sometimes. She had two kids with a third on the way but I sensed a sadness in her idk if I like someone I tune in on their emotions better.

Point being the 10th grade one was conventionally attractive and I felt nothing for and the 11th grade one Cupid smacked me pretty hard when I saw her.

I got a type but will break away from it if I really like the person though hence love conquers all if you don't mind the cheese.

Frankie Adams, aka Bobby from the expanse.

She's gorgeous and could absolutely crush my enemies for me.

Idk if she counts but you don't see many Samoan actresses in general so I'd think she does.

It's funny, I think she's "conventionally attractive", it didn't occur to me she'd be on the unconventional list. I will say, I can understand the dudes who have a thing for the PM on the Expanse on her voice alone.

This is specific, but Jerri from HBO's Succession. Really liking her season 2 arc.
