Is she saying that she was an anarchist before/during her MIC years, or that she became one afterwards?
Because I'm much more inclined to give her a pass if she radicalized afterwards, but if she claimed to be an anarchist while working there, that's...not great.
I think the bigger problem is that she continues to tout her time working for MIC as if she was doing good things for the country and makes comments like this using her drone programming expertise to "dunk" on "tankies".

I don't think she was actually in the MIC. She's a middling mathematician (because there are no good American mathematicians) that did some regular government funded research that could be used in any application. When it suits her needs she emphasises connections to the military, when she then gets called out she denies them. Basic self-serving shit.
... and building a data-driven, responsive, synergistic, mortality-ambiguating device in its place.
