tbh anime is a great way to experience the emotions from situations that are impossible
like making friends
I mean, making friends with psychic powers and really buff friends who are super supportive of my goals to get in shape is a personal fantasy of mine. Which is why there’s a particular anime I re-watched all the way through a week after my first watch.
you should try jujutsu kaisen
its definitely more shonen but it's really deep and smartly done on the emotion side
My sister is bullying me into watching Demon Slayer
She also bullied me into watching Mob Psycho so I guess she has good taste
haven't seen Demon Slayer but it's been all the rage on weeb twitter so im hesitant, all I can say is JJK for sure would recommend
JJK and Demon Slayer are comparable in quality imo. But I think I like the characters and sense of humor in JJK more overall.
So far it’s pretty good. I mean it’s pretty standard Shonen fair but the art is pretty and the characters are fun. I think weeb Twitter likes it cuz there’s lots of “oh my gawd so SAD/SWEET” moments in it.
Also the episodes are short enough for my ruined attention span
I dunno. Having to read subtitles requires concentration. I'd probably watch more anime if there were decent dubs to pirate.
You: "Maybe the reason you watch anime is..."
**Me: interrupting you **
Me: "Giant fighting robots."
You: "But, the pilots are fighting for..."
Me: "Don't care. Just want to watch giant fighting robots."
So what you at getting at is, we should make a Chapo.chat anime
I like anime because goddamn anglos don't know how to make a decent animated TV show.
Stay out of my replies with your shit recommendations, only good american cartoons are Avatar, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, and Clone Wars. Honorable mention to Gravity Falls.
I also watch Star Trek because I'll never live in the 24th century.
Akko would never say this she's too good. She would however make a rousing call for people to stop sitting around and DO SOMETHING though.
