can't tell if joke or srs,

So here's an italian study from a published journal from a month ago saying it probably originated there

    https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0300891620974755?journalCode=tmja

Our results indicate that SARS-CoV-2 circulated in Italy earlier than the first official COVID-19 cases were diagnosed in Lombardy, even long before the first official reports from the Chinese authorities, casting new light on the onset and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

That is not what that article is saying. It's saying that there were cases in Italy before either the Italian or Chinese governments were aware of the virus, not before the virus was in China.

None of these blood tests have placed the virus in another country before the first confirmed case in Wuhan. On top of that, there have not been retroactive blood tests, like this one, done on the population of Wuhan, which would in all likelihood date the virus back even further.

why do you, a random poster on the internet, want Italian scientists to be wrong so bad and blame China

There's nothing wrong about what the Italian scientists are saying, you're just extrapolating a conclusion that the results don't support.

And I'm obviously not blaming China for anything because I don't subscribe to the idiotic narrative that the country where the virus came from is somehow responsible for it.

so why did you make this original post

                  I didn't.

Aaaaand now you're editing your posts so whatever. It's not like this is a fight worth having anyways. There's plenty of evidence indicating that the virus started in china, and there are plenty of reasons why that doesn't fucking matter.

i edited because i got confused

but i still dont see why you got so mad at me or you're so invested in this. I literally only said "probably" and then directly quoted from scientific articles.

Correcting someone isn't the same as being mad at them. It's a scientific study with a very narrow conclusion. It's just a bad habit in general to draw conclusions that aren't supported by the data in question. And if I can disprove it, some Chud can too, so it should be discarded as a talking point.

All that being said, if my language was harsh, I'm sorry.

That shows your ignorance on understanding antibodies.

This paper has not been peer reviewed, it has been published on an internal journal of INT, which editor is an author. And most likely they're just seeing cross-reactivity in the T-Cells of other corona viruses.
