    Honestly let Texas leave, they have hyped themselves up to believe they are successful when it’s just because of their size and market in connection to the US. If they leave and have to rely souly on their own state funding and infrastructure for shit they are fucked, they rank in the bottom half of all major stats including education, infrastructure, crime, and opportunity. At best they would be hovering around Romania, Poland, and Ukraine on the nation index. Most likely they would be the libertarian bear city on a nation level.

    Edit: Yes I know this is reductionist and seems like I’m pulling a lib and being gleeful about the possibility of “punishing” Texas for being stupid but it’s literally not that at all.

    This is directly a drunken rage filled response to my chud family acting as if Texas proves in some way that libertarianism works.

      Alternatively, letting Texas leave would mean leaving Austin, Houston, Dallas, and the Mexican border region at the mercy of those psychos, even more so than now.

        On the one hand, there are a lot of people in Texas who deserve better than to become part of the Texan Chudsob Massacre.

        I think there would be a racial civil war within Texas, and I hope that all the Latinos join up with the Blacks.

        yeah but radlibs probably think texans "deserve" to be cut out of the union or would hope them leaving would cause themselves damage, punishing them for "their" bad choices in government. obviously it would only serve to harm the poor and im sure the ruling class would be fine. people on this site want texas to leave cause itll make america as a whole worse off, and the empire being worse off/weaker is good for the global south/poor countries we exploit. at least thats the difference i see

          I don’t want it to happen because Texas and the many POC and poor who have no say will be fucked while the rich stay rich (hence Ukraine, Romania reference) I am however, very drunk and very fed up with my southern family members talking dumb shit so yeah.
