I appreciate the sentiment, but I feel weird asking people on the internet for money. However she almost certainly would just rather be out whatever it takes, and that over rides my feelings on the matter.
She told me bail/bond was reduced to $2300 over the phone. Unless that amount could be raised and she could be out by Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, I don't see the point in trying to raise money for that purpose. My brain is kinda fried rn. Any suggestions of what to do? No way to raise that kinda money myself or from family.
Edit: I can't even figure out how to actually find the amount it is or how to actually pay it. It's a confusing mess of contradictory bs. I suspect bail is set insanely high because the charge would be skipping court dates, which always has a stupid high bail.
Honestly I’m not sure at all. Gofundme with an Instagram post that can be spread from account to account?? I know me and my friends are always posting and donating to gofundme links for various people that are in a tough situation. Did you get any other ideas?
