Point: imposing value judgements (especially if enforced), weird shit like it being ok to show hundreds getting killed if there's no blood or cursing

Counterpoint: some kids are pussies (like me) and will be traumatized by gore and violence and shit

Countercounterpoint: kids need to see that violence to prepare them for revolution or something

Maybe something more akin to a list of trigger warnings, or the IMDB parents guide that just described all the acts of violence/sex and instances of cursing would be more helpful and value-neutral

    To side step this a bit isn't the ESRB a thing where the gaming industry self policing in an effort to keep regulation by the government out of videogames. Like fuck the government but I don't like the idea of capitalist policing themselves.

    It might do to have like a rating system made by video game players vs one that is made by capitalists. I say we are better judges of character compared to people who might have never played a game.
