Management email is basically "I dunno, some of you weren't around her that much so maybe you won't get it." Been getting emails for months saying that members of the building staff (maintenance crew presumably) have tested positive but that it somehow didn't apply to our floor. Figured that even if someone here tested positive they would still make people come to work if they could get away with it, I should have taken bets with someone.
Same thing happened where I work. They did call anyone who was still working at the time to ask if they still wanted to come in, but I missed the call and no one even asked me if I'd be ok working knowing that someone had gotten it the next time I went in to work.
Also had a family member who is a high risk individual and her manager came into work knowing he had COVID and was then forced to quarantine by higher ups. But they also let him come back before the recommended two week period. Within a couple weeks there were another 11 people who got it. Thankfully that was a couple months ago and she didn't get it, but I was worried for that entire time.
Fucking hate how little regard employers have for their employees.
