My brother made some tacos salad
i am once again demanding that taco bell sell potatoes again or i will go insane
THEY MADE THE QUESARITO AN ONLINE EXCLUSIVE AND THAT IS NOT OKAY
Taco Bell called and they're telling me that these are NACHO-FRIES!!
Brb, gonna go sacrifice some small business owners wearing nothing but a gun holster
Looks fuckin great. What's that, guac, pico, sour creme, and lettuce? Anything else under there?
From the floor up it's: the shell, refried beans, taco beef, cheddar, hot sauce, lettuce, and then guac, pico and sour cream.
this is one of those pictures that i could taste immediately mmm
Heck yea!
This is one if my favorite dishes and yours looks super yummy what all is under the guacamole pico and crema?
Well, thank you; but that's my bro's, not mine. Knowing him and my nieces and sis in law it is most certainly ground beef, cheddar/mix cheese, shredded LET-US and then the homemade guac, pico and store bought sour cream.
In Texas grocery stores we have a couple brands of Mexican crema (la vaquita and cacique), and El Salvadoraña crema that has a different flavor (also cacique brand) which is less fluffy than American sour cream. My gf says there's actual fluffy Mexican sour cream too. I asked her the difference between all of them and she said 🤷♀️. The regular sour cream your bro used is probably best for this meal, and the watery ones are better for tacos. The funniest thing is that when we first started dating I thought ground beef tacos were white people tacos and I was very wrong. Come to find out Mexicans actually know how to season ground beef and even add potatoes. They also know how to fry corn tortillas into delicious crispy taco shells. I'm so fat. That shit looks on point tho.
Haha that sounds great. Lactose intolerance be damned I'm trying all of this!
Protip: just drink a lot and you'll never really know if you're lactose intolerant, you can just chalk the diarrhea up to beer and liquor.
Huh? It's store bought sour cream. You can make your own? Is that like pasteurized? I remember you can make curds from heavy cream with vinegar (let me know if I'm wrong just spitballing here), then add salted boiling water to the curds to make cheese ( think that's how we did it at a restaurant I worked for)??
