Transphobia in general just doesn't make sense. I remember speaking with my elderly Muslim conservative mom at the height of the "bathroom" drama and she just shrugged her shoulders and said something like "their genitalia is their business, I won't sit on the same toilet as them", which was a surprising take from her lol. It's so fucking dumb that people spend so much time on being openly hostile to Trans people, it's definitely one of the shittiest developments of recent years.
