It's true, though there is some good stuff, not just the standard Banks/MacLeod socialist work. And it's (sort of) fantasy, but I'm going to keep asking people to read Saunder's Commonweal Series until it's a standard theory text.
i did not know egalitarian fantasy was a thing (outside of maybe Le Guin). i just looked into this series i wish i had more time to read. reminds me of a D&D worldbuilding thing i did awhile back.
The last two Nebula awards didn't have even a single cis man among finalists in the best novel category. Of cause you brocialists think contemporary sci-fi is "forced", smh.

This is objectively the greatest piece of speculative Sci Fi ever written, and it's only three years old.
The best thing the Chapo podcast ever did for me was introduce me to Jon Bois. A true legend.
