This might sound silly but I just don't think it's in me to bully. I get angry and can lash out but it's just hard for me to just shit on people without trying to get us all to be friends. I'm just lame lol
The hardest part is coming up with sources. They just parrot obvious propaganda because that's what they do. Usually one click away. Meanwhile you then have to either refute their article line by line (which will cause then to just get the next of the 200 propaganda articles that cites the came fucking sources as if it's a new source) or find a more direct source that refutes their point which they promptly call propaganda and say something like "give Putin a kiss for me" or "does Winnie the Pooh share his honey?" And I just post PPB and be done with it lol.
I honestly think you can make someone a baby leftist by just avoiding all the hot button issues that would sidetrack your discussion like China, the USSR, etc. Pointing out the obvious failures of capitalism, if the person you're talking with can relate to them at all, should leave them in a position where they can at least accept that capitalism is unsustainable. From there it would take a while to get them to be an actually productive leftist, and it probably won't be you who does it. But everyone I've got over on our side, it always started with a conversation about how the status quo is extremely unsustainable and produces terrible results for everyone around the world, not a screaming match on a controversial topic.

I mean I voted Biden too. I think he's actually so shitty that he is also an accelerationist vote. If Trump is everything wrong with the Republican party, Biden is everything wrong with the Democrats and I think left wing movements will do a lot better under an old racist white Democrat than under someone like Obama. I don't see Biden being able to coopt progressive movements like Obama did.

I always found topminds to be such an exhaustingly smug subreddit. I recall they even had a lot of chinabad posts, posts starting slapfights with CTH and other leftist subs, etc. Easily one of the worst political subs, you shouldn't be allowed to mock people for their political views until yours are correct and nobody will change my mind on that.
as the dude pointed out to me in our chat, it was originally for just posting people who had batshit insane conspiracy theories, and things related to that. Then it just turned into libs saying orangemanbad at some point.
