Every single time Riot does something people find objectionable they blame it on China instead. Some try to cover it up by whingeing about Tencent, but they end up letting the mask slip off more often than not.
Mind you, this was years ago. I have not really paid attention to anything related to LoL in a very long time but it is basically guaranteed it has only got worse over the years. That community was already toxic as fuck and I can only imagine what Brexit, Trump and the new Cold War have done to it.

Yeah maybe I'm reading into it too much, just seems a bit too similar to "WHERE'S MY CHRISTMAS, THIS IS AN ATTACK ON TRADITIONAL VALUES"
