    Sure, but when those few individuals escalate tensions further do you think conditions will improve toward some kind of national unity between you and people who think you should die of a disease before their privileges are impacted or degrade toward encouraging more cohesive violence? Those people are just the martyrs they rally behind, the Kyle Rittenhouses and Dylan Roofs and Elliott Rodgers and Ted Kaczynskis they see as confirmations of their worst fantasies. There is a mass movement on a civil level, they have entire propaganda networks and militias and a culture of their own. They don't have an inciting incident to boil over yet, but when that does happen you've got a giant mass of likeminded but irrational people with guns. If even one of them sits in a tall building with an off-the-shelf gun, they could kill dozens at a protest and set a completely different tone for every event and action afterward.
