OP is probably talking about how we deal with knowing climate apocalypse will kill us all and destroy beyond recognition the few survivors.

If you genuinely think that is the case, log off this website and never think about politics again. You might as well be a hooting Chud if you think we're all doomed - at least they seem to get some pleasure out of it.

Over 25% of Americans in 2005 thought that the Rapture was "imminent". That number has been pretty steady for decades. Climate doomers are the exact same bullshit. It's not scientific. It's a psyop to make you give up.

Climate change is scientific. Doomerism is not. Belief in the Rapture is one of the defining characteristics of American culture, though. Congrats on carrying on a family tradition!

Again, if you seriously believe that an apocalypse is imminent, why do you care about any of this at all? Go have fun with your friends and family.

The entire point of "scientists" telling you that the planet is doomed is to convince you that it's OK to do nothing (Conservatives). Or alternatively, that we need to take drastic measures, sponsored by the IMF of course, to really make people "take accountability" for being greedy American piggies (Liberals).

I just really think the climate-caused famines are close and will turn everything to even shittier. We will survive somehow, but everything will be grimmer.
