I wish there were a database for notable public figures where you can just type in their name and it tells you immediately if they're a shithead or not. I don't want to inadvertently support a racist or a TERF or etc etc but a lot of the time that information is HARD to come by, especially if that person is (for example) a fiction author who doesn't tweet much or give many interviews.
