I was just having this conversation with a friend tonight, how some people are quite content to experience many things by and unto themselves, and for others things are much more enjoyable (maybe only enjoyable) when shared. I’m in the latter camp like you. It extends to other things too, like if I had a best friend to teach me hacking (in Minecraft) I think I’d be into it, but I don’t want to learn it from a book or anonymous forum.
DnD. I have always wanted to try that sort of roleplaying game but I'm too nervous to do it the first time with people I don't know. My friends in college were not nerdy enough to be interested, and I haven't made new ones because I moved during the pandemic.
Maybe there could be chapo D&D groups someday?

Someone in my city makes big pots of things and shares with strangers, via the city reddit. It’s pretty wholesome. I bake things and share with my retired neighbor. She shares with me when she bakes too. She also does “special” cookies (weed), lol.

but i think i kinda have that with everything? i've always been trash at socializing (doesn't come naturally to me) but i'm still very sociable (?) in the sense that i love talking about what i enjoy, it's the other people who kinda hate hearing me do it, they either find me boring, or annoying, or find my points stupid or irrelevant or nonsensical or whatever

All Cats Are Beautiful is a semi-hardcore WoW TBC guild made by and for leftists and LGBTQ+ folks who want to 1) play/raid seriously 2) in an environment free of sexism, racism, homophobia, and any other type of bigotry.
We’re a new guild starting fresh for TBC Classic, and wanting to extend the invite to everyone who are looking play and raid seriously in an environment free of typical gamer toxicity. The core of the guild are all friends from the majority of classic, remaking to build a group that is serious about clearing SWP.
Casual/social/pvp-focused members are also welcome, but are advised that our main focus is progression and raiding. Our overarching aim is to clear content in a timely and efficient manner and eventually kill KJ.
