That's why taxing the rich is ultimately a liberal stop-gap. The true goal of socialism is not to give comfort to the working class (though it will come), but to invest them with political power and control over the economy. Take away their lands, their factories and their firms and the bourgeoisie can not crawl back on top of us and destroy whatever social reforms those taxes may have bought us.
