I'm looking for something that you'd watch on its own merits as opposed to just because it's a tradition.

For example Bob's Burgers has some good christmas episodes

      I just watched it too and can confirm it is good especially for a Netflix movie. At least 100x better than and preferable to the violation of the Geneva convention commonly known as “The Polar Express.”

    All of the Psych ones are pretty great, 30 Rock ones are usually good, and the three Futurama ones too.

    I had a friend who's husband collects shitty Christmas specials. We had a Christmas in July party where we gave one another terrible gifts, ate cookies, drank alcohol, and watched the Christmas specials for He-Man and She-Ra, Star Wars, and something else I don't remember. It was very fun, but probably not in the way you mean.
