Incredible escalations. One can only hope Trudeau does the same back and fuck up Canada but unfortunately I think he's nowhere near dumb enough to do that. Doesn't fit his platform and would destroy his already tiny chances of winning the next election

I can't imagine how doing a very liberal "Those brown people can't come into our country and break the rules!" finger-wag at India will hurt Trudeau.

America: "Hey Canada, we're going to seize a couple of your residents and disappear them into Gitmo for a few years, cool?"

Canada: "Ah, yeah bro. No problem, aye."

India: "Oh, is that cool? Great. We're sending in the marines to wack a guy leading a seperatist movement."

Canada: "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! us-foreign-policy Wrong kinda Aryans there, champ. Yer gonna hafta apologize or somethin'."

Probably the western alliance wants to develop a fifth column within India while the USA as the main player remains friends with Modi.

The west is a multi-headed hydra and the US can keep playing India as an ally against China while Canada becomes the safe haven of the anti-Modi resistance.
