I looked up bellingcat a few weeks back when I read news that Navalny was doubling down on the FSB trying to assassinate him, and that it was this wonk-ass named investigation company that somehow cracked into foreign state information and learned about all of this.

Turns out this guy is like some kind of dweeb that made his debut helping the feds identify the "moderate rebels" in Syria and guided the entire media story on the Civil War with his "expertise and cutting edge intelligence on the region" without going there, talking to a lot of people, or speaking the lingua franca.
