I was busy with school and fell back on the bad habit of using reddit instead of coming here. Reddit is full of neolibs and fucking sucks, but y'all already knew that. Also, I successfully defended my masters in computer engineering, so hell yeah to that. But yeah i'ma commit to just browsing here instead, seriously fuck reddit
Yeah I generally follow the same, but I just recently got into an argument about kamala harris on one of the women's subs and it was so reactionary it just drove me to want to leave. And thanks!

I unfortunately have years of muscle memory from using that app, I'll abandon it when I abandon Reddit. It's a very good reddit app.
Yeah absolutely same. I should probably spend less time on social media anyway. Now that I'm done school I have no excuse not to dig into some theory :heart-sickle:
When people say they defended their masters or PhD or whatever I just imagine them entering a room where they have to fend off a bunch of old professors trying to tear up their thesis.
good call. I haven't used reddit since this site launched, no regrets whatsoever, and also it's harder to just mindlessly scroll forever here because there isn't infinite content
Yeah abandoning reddit has been good for reducing my total time in a day spent scrolling
Almost everything about reddit sucks, I use it but only for r/GenZedong, a few of the "Q&A" socialist subs (like socialism101 etc), r/FULLCOMMUNISM, a few other subs and some subs for bands and genres of music, but the rest of it is awful. Even r/IndieHeads, the "indie music community" on it sucks lol
